My friend Amy Anderson of Mod Podge Rocks has partnered with Plaid to launch a new product, Mod Podge Rocks Peel and Stick Stencils. Love that they don’t wiggle or move while you’re working.
In my opinion, what better way to try out a new product than to whip up something pretty. And why not yummy while you’re at it. {grin}
The new Peel and Stick Stencils come in a variety of patterns. I chose to make these little lovelies with Amy’s chevron and polka dot.
To make these you’ll need:
- Mod Podge Rocks Peel and Stick Stencils
- Mod Podge Sheer (in pink) with pouncer
- White Cardstock
- Whimsy Frame Punch
- Circle Punch
- Foam Adhesive Square
- Heart Candy Sprinkles (or cut out paper ones)
- Lollipop Sticks
- White circle stickers or hot glue
- Optional: Glitter
And the easy how to steps:
- Place stencils on white card stock. Pounce on Sheer Mod Podge and wipe off excess with the pouncer. (Optional: Sprinkle with glitter.) Allow to dry for 5 minutes.
- Punch out frames and circles.
- Attach circles to frames with foam adhesive squares for a raised effect.
- Attach hearts to center of circle with a dot of Mod Podge.
- Attach topper to lollipop sticks with hot glue, or white circle stickers for a more finished look
You can buy Amy’s new Peel and Stick Stencils from Plaid Online and at Michaels. So proud of her!
